Table Talks: Why do older people feel the need or desire to “Come Out?”
Well, this is a million dollar question. The truth is, there are many reasons. But, in this episode, I will share 4 that I have often heard while doing my work. I share these for two reasons: 1) to show understanding and support to older folks still in the closet, and 2) to help others to, perhaps, understand their situations just a little bit more. I want to see encouragement and grace across generational lines within the community. That goes for those still in the closet as well. Do you?
